"Happy" Veterans Day

Our recent wars and their expanding servicemen participation have increased the attention to Veterans Day.
Until about ten years ago, it was just a bank holiday with a somewhat fuzzy understanding - wounded/killed in war?
thise with special car tags? WWII/Korea/Vietnam soldiers?

I'm glad we Americans now better honor those men and women who defend and defended us.

I'm a little embarrassed to be greeted with, "thank you for your service".

This morning Marriott gave us all a free Starbucks. I like that.
